EKSPLORASI

At the beginning of 2026, the artist Melati Suryodarmo invited Alexis Jestin to gather artists from across Indonesia for a collaborative and in-depth exploration. This eksplorasi took place at Studio Plesungan in Surakarta. The presentation was held at the Pendopo Taman Budaya Jawa Tengah, a cultural venue established by the provincial government of Central Java as a platform for the development, research, documentation, and promotion of Indonesian arts and culture. Taman Budaya Jawa Tengah spans five hectares and is located in the city of Surakarta.
